Practicing Attentiveness - At the heart of spiritual awakening is and the practice that arises from that is simply paying attention.
Our minds are perpetual wanderers. As a primitive survival tool, it, like our eyes and ears is constantly scanning the environment for potential danger.
When an awakening takes places something new arrives on the scene, the capacity to discern the quality of where attention is going and, with that, the capacity to train the mind to go where you want it to.
Attention creates your world... literally. The whole palette of potential human experience is available to us all, but our habits around what gets and holds our attention determines how much of the limitless pie we get to enjoy.
