I wanted to actually use Item Hog and Heart Finder, two badges I usually don't use when doing a PHP.

My findings: I think the results are a little skewed -- I didn't equip either badge until the latter half of the Pit. Honestly, Heart Finder isn't needed in the first 50 floors -- Koops is strong enough to destroy everything...the only thing to worry about are Spiky Parabuzzies. Item Hog, on the other hand, definitely could've put in work in the earlier floors, but helped a lot with healing in the later half when combined with the guaranteed Heart Drops. I'll need to revisit this one, though.With proper placement, you shouldn't be worried about Heart Drops touching you -- I specificially tried to get into fights closer to enemies, and it worked out really well; watch out for battling near a wall, though.
