We know already all the new moves (unless capcom is hidding something) of gunlance in the playable builds and thanks to that and the knowledge of the weapon from past games and the bonuses they got have an idea of how they will play.
There is a lot of worries about normal type dominating because the new wyrmstake full blast move that allows you to use two burst fires in a combo... but that will be really the case.
I go through the traditional pro and cons of each shell type in the recent games including iceborne and sunbreak and reach the possible conclusions and how they will shape the two unknow shell types.
