Prelude of the Chambered was created by Notch (the creator of Minecraft) for the Ludum Dare competition. The participants have 48 hours to create a game based around a theme. I watched much of this process on Notch's live stream. It was amazing to see it emerge from the void as the code poured out of him.

So I knew it had to be the first of my Pseudo-Retro series.
