The template you load into max is called "maxstart_staticobjects.max"
It will set up Base00 and Start01 for 3dsmax for your model you make. It will spawn with 4 little cubes as examples so you know what you are looking at when you load it.
I got to spend a little more time to refamiliarize myself with Max. Then I will make a proper video on how to use this. I should say just like Blender, them materials do not automatically save when you export that DAE from max. You still got to make a material in the game for it. Two sample files I did, testing the max models are in the zip also. Place that entire folder that is zipped into your levels art folder so that it is in its own folder. Import in from Asset browser. Then in the object inspector change collision mesh to visible mesh final.
I will go over all this stuff in more detail in the video when I make it.
I have 29 more days to use this 30 day free trial. Hehe, hopefully in the next few days I will have something done.
