[Previous World Record] - New Game+ Massive Multiplayer in 56m24s
5We did it again, another World Record in the New Game+ Massive Multiplayer category.
This time we managed it in 56m24s, saving nearly 2 minutes on our previous world record!
We had 57 players for these runs, and once again doing a double run proved to really make a difference.
The base and blueprint went through a massive overhaul before these runs, so in the first run we had a good practice and only ended up 3 mins behind WR pace, the second run everyone knew how the base would run and what to build where, and it really showed as the entire base went up incredibly fast, so fast in fact we were waiting for research towards the end.
The design team have taken all feedback and are already working on the blueprint ready for our next attempts and potentially another WR soon - can we get sub 55m or even sub 50m?
This run also contains the now infamous "Happy Birthday - We're out of RCU's" song :D
Definitely could've been a few seconds faster at the end because of that!
