PROJECT BRUTALITY 3.0 - City Of The Damned [100% SECRETS]
2,172Project Brutality 3.0 with The City Of The Damned WAD, made by Tormentor667 remake of the map with a same name, released back in 2004. Project Brutality 3.0 is an upcoming version of one of the best available mods for the classic Doom - expect a lot of fun when playing it. Project Brutality will be released after the DOOM:Eternal so it might take some time (remember, WHEN IT'S DONE). Please note that the Project Brutality 3.0 in its current state is still Work In Progress, so bugs are to be expected, including crashes to the desktop!
The City Of The Damned remastered by Tormentor667, is a very nice detailed single level WAD, styled with some Blood 1 vibes and atmosphere. The map is heavy and gritty, full of wooden textures and stone, it reminds a lot the first episode of Blood in style, there is also a small meat processing factory. Together with funeral house, graveyard, together with a morgue, all of the rooms and buildings are unique, have their distinct feeling during the exploration. There are total of 6 skull keys you must find to complete the level, remember that crouching and jumping is mandatory here, you won't get 100% without it. As for the secrets, there are 3 of them to find - a hidden Soulsphere triggered with a trap, fake wall with Plasma Rifle and BFG on crates, where violet skull is needed. This map has got small compatibility issues with modifications, few of the monsters on map are custom, thus they don't have brutalized animations or attacks. The City Of The Damned has got somehow a rough start because beginning can be tough, in case of Project Brutality, you might get immediately killed in first second. Several Zombie Scientists with Chainsaw or Fire Axes might spawn in front you, immediately attacking - remember that their attacks are instant death in such situations. Once you enter the final building with burning lava and teleporter inside, you are going to fight a boss battle against two slow fatsos with heavy cannons, BFG them.
