568Project Brutality is in my opinion a better alternative to Brutal Doom, it's an enhanced version but also much more enjoyable with a faster pace of gameplay. Weapons have so big spread like in BDoom v20. There are also tons of new weapons and even monsters, their spawning depends on your level progression. So for example, all monsters have got stronger versions like Zombies with automatic shotguns, Imps with homing fireballs or flying Barons of Hell. There are also some interesting eye candies like Imps which can crawl on ceilings, they are really dangerous right now, but even one shot when they crawl can destroy them.
Weapons, weapons... there are of them with multiple modes! Akimbo pistols, silencer for pistols, akimbo Plasma weapons, launchers, rocket launcher with laser guide, Black Hole Generator and even more. You really must try this mod!
