PROJECT SPARK BETA BEGINS (Escapist News Now)

The beta for Project Spark begins today exclusively on Windows 8.1. Previously registered beta participants should start receiving invites today and you can go to projectspark.com to sign up if you are interested in checking it out.

The beta for Xbox One is slated to begin sometime in early 2014 and both betas are scheduled to run throughout 2014 until the game launches. In Project Spark, players can makes games, build worlds, create environments, and customize characters to make unique gameplay experiences.

You can use the Kinect for voice and motion capture to create custom facial animations, body motion, dialogue and even cinematic cut scenes.
