Operation Anticipation

The Cascadian Independence Force is about to start an operation to take back one of their major cities from Federation control. The city of Prospero. The city is a major trading hub for Cascadia, it also has the largest airport in the country, which the Federation is currently using as an airbase. If the CIF liberates Prospero, they will take back their financial hub from the Federation and retake the airport. The capture of Prospero will also force the remaining Federation military forces in Cascadia to fall back towards Presidia. However, in the Battle for Prospero, the CIF and their mercenary allies will soon discover that the Federation has become so desperate to avoid losing the war that they will now use a new weapon they have developed to push the CIF back, a weapon which will lead to disaster.
