After the events of Chapter 4, we return back to Shibuya although now there's trouble. The big bad of Shadaloo, M. Bison shows up asking Saya and her band of Ouma regarding the portal that is in the sky. Oh and Juri is back, now under Bison's command instead of Seth and the fact that the two don't get along. Makes me wish that Juri would join us again.

But it isn't Project X Zone without some good guys coming in to stop them. Chun Li and Xiaoyu are back, becoming a pair unit since Jin and Morrigan are now under different pair units. Oh and a new character is in on the action, Ryo Hazuki from Shenmue. He's after Shadaloo because they stole an heirloom of his, The Phoenix Mirror. He joins Chun Li & Xiaoyu and together along with the others that come in a turn later are able to send the Ouma including Juri & Sheath packing.
