Project zero deaths is a side-scrolling verses shooter for PC and mobile. For the purpose of this review, I'm playing the PC version.
The character design is nice and simple, some of them are quite funky, I like the bee and dog. I think the wacky style was a good choice here. Each character has its own unique ability which is nice, makes for a more chaotic game.
I wasn't expecting much of Project Zero Deaths Gameplay, but I'm happy to say I was pleasantly surprised. There are 4 game modes to choose from there's a collect the rings game which plays as a team death-match kind of game. There's a bomb attack game where you have to take the bomb and run it to the enemy's base, a capture the flag game and an escort the payload game.
You can play with or against your friends which is fun. I'd say the match make could do with some work though, I was a much higher level than Josh when we played and if synced me to his level so I was playing with people a much lower level. It would have been better to average out the levels and level out the playing field a bit.
To be able to play each game mode you have to level up to the required levels, I thought this would take a lot longer than it did so it wasn't too much of an effort.
If you enjoy fast-paced shooters then Project Zero Deaths might be a good shout for you.
