Update: You could also use Steam Remote Play. I heard it handles much better now - my past experience with it was terrible so I didn't consider it for this video. Wen the GOG version's out, Parsec's the way to go~

Multiplayer is still technically possible in Project Zomboid. The splitscreen functionality is intact, and with at least 1 controller and an app that streams your game to friends, you can play together online!
