TL;DR--- Just scroll to the end of the video and you'll see the lap time I set, and then it scrolls through the upgrades set for the car in the car garage. The only performance mod period was semi slick tires which pretty much most manufactures used to do to cheat times on nurgburgring throughout the years. The official Honda S2000 lap time on wikipedia is 8:39 from a seasoned professional racing driver, same EXACT time I got with semi slicks. look it up guys

Basically Iv'e had people accuse me of this game being a "Sim Cade" game and lump it in with Fprza and Gran Tourismo. While the game coming out of the box is probably not as realistic as Project Cars or Assetto Corsa, once you apply the UCP patch which a bunch of 40 year olds in their mom's basement made over years of development to make the physics as realistic as possible, it becomes one of the most realistic racing sim's ever made.

Want Proof? Watch this video and on my first attemp fully stock with the Honda S2000, I got around an 8:50. With semi slick track tires, this car got 8:39 on my FIRST ATTEMPT WITH THIS SETUP everything else was completely stock other than track cockpit which has literally no affect on performance in the game which is a fizzy steering wheel and some fake boost gauges that don't even work without turbo.

Okay I might have had a couple of very minor slip ups in this lap that didn't even cost a second due to a joystick and my limited thumb coordination, but rest assured even if it isn't 100% realistic it's pretty damn close.

I intend on testing my theory with other cars as well, but the S2k seemed like a good place to start. Myth busted my dudes this is more realistic than any console racing game that will probably EVER be released in history and the main complaint of this game was "oh whaaaaaa it's too hard to drive" not even lying. not sure how the realism scales to huge performance mods with turbos and 1300 horsepower but at least a stock honda s2k with semi slicks was DEAD ON ACCURATE. This was not a fluke.
