I have played a lot of games over the years but very few of them have ever blown my mind like Sifu did. This is one of my all time favorite settings for a fight in a game so far. This fight is a example that games have gotten to a level that I have waited on since I was a kid. The setting, combat, and music are all perfect and set a tone that pulls you in likes it’s movie. I included picking up the bat at the beginning as a good example of that. If you didn't see on first watch I will explain. I came in and as I was walking down the hallway I looked over and saw a bat before I entered the VIP room so I picked it up and entered. All that flows so well together that it feels like a real person was walking into a bar and notices a weapon at the door then grabs it knowing what he will be getting into a fight inside then calmly opens the door like a gangster with the weapon out and in the open for the enemy to see. It sets that tone for the viewer or player exactly what’s fixing to go down inside without having to even know the people or the setting and how many games can you name that are immersive enough to pull you in with something that would seem so small or insignificant like that. Not to mention how after mastering the game and all the moves how insane the combat can look with amazing backgrounds or settings. This is just a fight from a room you cant access till near the end of the game too and the fights get even wilder then this. Sifu is a 10 out of 10 to me and still blows me away almost every time I play it
