Here it is, the cyberpunk themed level I've been working on over a course of 3 or so months. According to Colon's save explorer, I've spent a total of 50 hours working on this, paying a lot of extensive attention to detail. Apart from the creator's block I had in March, I had some of the best flow states I've ever had working on this. My aim for this level was to make something cyberpunk-esque, but depict a darker and grittier version of the future, as I think this is the best way to represent the genre. For the decoration I was mainly inspired by one of my favorite anime series Serial Experiments Lain and the manga Akira and I tried my best to replicate the mood both of those bring. I highly recommend the Akira manga to anyone and SEL to anyone who likes... well... experimental stuff. I also tried bring some of the ideas both these series bring to life, namely the melding of the real world and technology, which makes up the last part/endscreen and portraying disaster, which happens in the third part of the level. Chances are I'll make a video about the whole building process because I have way more to say about this level. Hope you all enjoy.
