Prototype is an action video game developed by Radical Entertainment and published by Activision in 2009. You play as Alex Mercer, a human with shape-shifting powers given by a virus created in a lab and who lost his memory in the process. He is the Prototype, the perfect killing machine created by the government to control the masses, but once he recovers the memories of his past life he will fight his makers.
