(PS1) Asuka 120% Final: Arcade Mode - The Grappler of the Game (Cathy Wild)
Hard difficulty. I figured out how the combo system works while learning this character. May you find interest in some of these matches and Cathy combos.
Cathy is a character who's hard to get damage out of despite being the slowest and wrestler based. She also has zero projectiles and struggles in clash battles. It's been quite challenging to make this character work when it feels like every character outperforms her. That's how I felt, but then I started learning how cheap she can be...
I understand why she's like she is. You can't block against her because she has an instant command grab that can't be teched. She has 6 different command grabs (strength variating) and a super command grab that are unblock-able (including her air to ground/air command grab). She also has 4 functioning hit grabs including another super.
All of this combines to make her quite unfair if she were any better or had more damage, but instead she's a bottom tier sleeper - who, with a little work, can pull out 70-90% damage combos with a little elbow grease.
