PS1 - The Mission (SLES-03234) - Part 1
132Yep! Another fantastic Microids masterpiece! (Being sarcastic)
This time, it's none other, than the amazing game known as The Mission, brought to you once again by those amazing french antics at Microids.
This game, as you might judge from the game's overall theme, is based on the 2000 Nike Commercial of the same name (Which I know alot of people remember it). Although making a game based on a commercial is pretty odd, as there weren't many games that were based on commercials.
However, the game's most critical point is the very first level, in where you have to destroy a fusebox after retreiving the Geo-Merlin (The name of the ball), which was merely impossibe (as no one or only a very few people who played this game, ever got past it, and turned it off shortly after failing one time or more).
However, after I finally figured it out how to get past it, here's how you can hit it:
when you're nearly close to the box, press and hold O, release it when it's halway full, and then press and hold down after quickly releasing it. You only have 80 seconds (or less, depending on the difficulty) to hit the fusebox and beat the first level. And I did it, as I'm pretty much the first if not the first man to ever post a video of the first level, in where YOU can actually beat it!
Once done, the game turns itself into a somewhat bland Streets of Rage/Final Fight/Burning Fight type game, where you defeat enemies by slide tackling them or shoot at them with the ball.
