This is a series of gameplay vids I'm doing highlighting overlooked games for the PS2.

Silpheed: The Lost Planet was an early PS2 shmup (shoot 'em up which is used to describe scrolling shooters like Graduis) developed by the beloved developers at Treasure, and published by Working Designs.

I'm not sure if it's a remake or a sequel to the Sega CD Silpheed game, but it's a pretty fun shmup nonetheless. It won't be the best one you've ever played, but if you're a fan of the genre, then you should definitely look into this game.

The game however is pretty short even for a shmup, and it suffers from slowdown in some areas.

Silpheed: The Lost Planet is only available on the PS2
