While Minion's special is very useful in a normal speedrun, its effectiveness is lessened in a non-Killer Weapon cheat speedrun. Hitting multiple enemies with the special is sometimes ideal in a normal speedrun, but it becomes a liability when you're trying to commit to killing a single enemy, and in some cases, using other weapons in conjunction with Mega Guns might produce a faster DPS overall than just roasting enemies with the flamethrower.
