PS3 Longplay [139] Ratchet and Clank Nexus

Ratchet & Clank: Nexus (Into the Nexus in US) is the fourth and final installment of the R&C Future series.
This time, the duo are transporting a couple of criminals to their prison on mission from Talwyn, things get FUBARed and we get to use all sorts of nice weapons to set things straight.
For old Ratchet-fans, this is basically more of the same. Some weapons are removed, some are added (The Winterizer is kind of neat), gadges are moved around as well. But the core gameplay, with its simple platforming and strafing around with guns blazing, are still there of course.
The puzzles this time are gravity-based platformers in the "Netherverse", a parallell universe which the plot revolves heavily around.
This is a 100% complete run, altough it is accomplished by some backtracking close to the end of the game, since some things are locked out by lack of gadgets when you get there the first time. This means, all gold bolts and the RYNO-plans are collected before we beat up the final boss.
The last half hour or so is the "Challenge Mode", which is unlocked when the game is completed, where all weapons can be upgraded further with the gold bolts. It also has a really nice 8-bit version of the title music which is just darling. -
