PS4 SSD Upgrade Tutorial - Newegg Arcade
202If you want to upgrade your PS4 stock drive to a SSD for faster boot/load times and more storage, just watch this video!
It's really quite simple and straightforward, but the thing to watch out for is formatting your USB drive before you download the software update!
Please format the USB drive, create the folder PS4, then a sub folder UPDATE inside the formatted USB drive.
You will be downloading the software update into the UPDATE folder.
Please make sure you complete the above before you plug the USB drive into the PS4 and boot up the system.
If PS4 does not recognize USB drive upon boot, try unplugging/replugging the USB drive back into the PS4.
