In this video I go over the process of adding a touch sensitive button to your LED PS5 controller. I came up with the idea of utilizing the TTP223 Chip, link is below, which senses the resistance from your finger to turn on a small transistor to illuminate your LEDs.

Also later on in the video I share some excited news about my Water Cooled PS5 project! So that is something big to look forward to!

1.5 Ohm Resistor (I recommend getting this kit and using the 1.5 ohm Resistor that comes in the kit, plus you'll have a bunch of extra resistors for future projects!) The LEDs used in this controller actually come with Resistors, but don't use those they are to big in resistance and in wattage:
