PS5 Just Got An Anti-Cheat Upgrade - IGN Daily Fix
Today on the Daily Fix, Denuvo’s anti-cheat software has landed on PS5. The contentious software from Irdeto, usually used on PC games, will now be available for games hitting the PlayStation 5, offering a way for developers to “protect their investment” and filter out would-be cheaters. Overwatch players on Xbox Series S and X will now enjoy a few upgrades, as Blizzard has quietly rolled out a few graphical improvements to the hero shooter. Players can switch between different graphics modes, offering either higher frame rates or resolution, taking advantage of the horsepower Microsoft’s latest consoles bring to the table. And finally, game devs give us a peek at how nightmarishly difficult adding something as simple as a door to your favorite games can be.
