And if there's one thing that's been confusing a lot of people, it's the free game upgrades both Sony and Microsoft are offering. So, let's knock them both out today. Here's a full explanation of how PS5 and Series X will handle backwards compatibility, complete with past insight on what the companies have previously done with older consoles.
