PSP E1000 and PlayStation 3 Price Cut!
373In this video I go over the Sony announcements from Gamescom including a new budget PSP model in the PSP E-1000 and the new lower price of the PlayStation 3.
Starting with the PSP E-1000, this fifth version of the PlayStation Portable features a refreshed design with a matte black finish. Just like the previous PSP models (PSPgo not withstanding) the E1000 relies on UMD discs however the E1000 lacks Wi-Fi. It is a Europe only release for later this year at €99.
The PS3 also got a price cut although the console remains the same. As of today in the US and Europe you can pick up a 160GB PlayStation 3 for $250 / €250 and a 320GB PS3 for $300 / €300.
