I figured that Star Ocean would be a good game to test with because the text is so freaking small. There are also no spoilers in the video because this is the beginning of the game.

When recording from a PSP, your picture is going to be really small and surrounded by black bars. It seriously only takes up about 1/3 of the screen. For this reason, I recommend using some sort of editing program to make the picture bigger.

You're going to need an additional cable to be able to connect your PSP to your capture device. You can also only record videos from PSP 2000, 3000, and Go models - the 'slim' models. You can *NOT* record from the original 'fat' PSP 1000 model.

I am using a PSP 3000 for those that are wondering.
