Dungeon Maker II.

A nice game, that lets you mix your creative skills, whilst allowing you to go adveturing and hacking your way through a whole host of Monsters that have decided to Dwell in your own custom made dungeon.

You start off with very little cash, weapons, potions and no dungeon.
Your left to venture out and create rooms, corridors, prisons, storage areas ect.
Each sort of room you choose and the way it is implemented in your custom dungeon will attract a certain type of creature or monster to live in a paticular area.

You then have the option go around chopping and hacking up the residents!
Money and items can be dropped by the fallen residents.
You then venture back to village, spend or trade, to buy items or rooms to improve things.

The idea is good, with an addictive streak that keeps you playing.
Improving your weapons/armour to slay bigger, more dangerous monsters and improving your dungeons look to attract richer rewards, all this adds to a long term addictive game.

The graphics are fair, they wont make your jaw drop with amazement but are decent enough to satisfy.

Music is a bit weak and does become bland and irritating after time but you can turn it off.
Sound effects are basic and serve the purpose but lack any serious bite.

Menu systems and controls are simple enough, once you have played the game for a while.

The weakest aspect of the game, are the fights in the dungeon, It's very basic, cast spells, run around and chop n slash, whilst keeping an eye on your health levels. You can block attacks but the damage you take depends on your weapon armour, skill levels.

I like this game, it has plenty of lifespan and addictive elements to hold your intrest for quite some time.
Building your mega dungeon, equiping and arming your character all helps make this game a long one.

7.4/10 Rated (would be much higher with better graphics and sound, with better fighting system)
