PUBG has some serious problems on Xbox One. The way Battlegrounds has been handled. marked and sold as a Game Preview title brings forth even more issues.

I can’t help but feel like this was a bad move. The game is going to get better, it is going to be great but why not wait until it is, before you call it a launch and treat it as such.

It’s also important to evaluate whether the game even needed to come to Game Preview in the first place. It’s being published by Microsoft and it’s a breakout success. Isn’t early access typically reserved for Indy developers who are trying to get funding for their game and letting players play early as it’s developed is an incentive for them to help fund the game? I can’t say for certain, but Blue Hole (PUBG’s developer) doesn’t seem like the small studio clambering for funds anymore. I don’t know all the specifics behind their financial situation or what the deal they made with Microsoft is like, but I can’t help but feel like the game preview system wasn’t totally necessary for Player Unknown's Battlegrounds
