Punch Out!! - Title Defense, A Rank
Piston Hondo has been training more ever since his loss to Little Mac. He's now faster than he was before, and can string more combos together. He's added fakeouts to his uppercuts now, often switching sides before actually throwing the punch. He also tends to bow every so often, though you can only punch him during his first bow. Every bow after is a trap, in which he'll throw a super fast jab at you if you try. The Hondo Rush gets faster each time he uses it, and it doesn't always result in a Knockdown if you counter it.
Bear Hugger has a new partner with him, a little squirrel. And with that, has some delayed attacks, and even fakeouts. He can't be stunned either, you have to rely on getting stars to use in order to stun him. 1 star lets you hit him 6 times, 2 stars gets 12 punches, and 3 stars is a knockdown. Beware, his Bear Hug, and Catch & Release are much stronger(C&R is a delayed BH), and can take out at least half your stamina. The squirrel acts as a timer. If it shows up during any regular attack, it's delayed. If it shows during a Bear Hug, it's a fakeout.
Great Tiger's moveset is more or less the same, only he now uses his blinking jewel to signal what he's going to do, has added one new attack, and changed his Rushing Magic Attack to be something similar to his NES version. The Blinking Jewel Combo is exactly what it says. His jewel will blink 2-4 times, signaling what attack he's going to do. Dodge and counter each one for a star. The Mirage Dance is a bit more difficult this time around, as he sends himself AND his clone at the same time. Dodge(or counter if you can) in the same direction his real self comes out, and when he spins, duck it for a shot to knock him around. If you have a Star, use it for an instant knockdown. The longer the fight goes on, the more erratic his attacks become, and the more frequently he'll use the Blinking Jewel Combo and Mirage Dance
Don Flamenco still retains his taunting nature, but has added a couple new attacks. Namely a Backhand shot, and a fast jab. The Rose Flurry can now go up to 5, with alternating swings too. Still have to duck those shots though regardless. Bring down the Don and defend your belt
