Purge plays Viper - replay
664Viper is a strong hero due to his ability to do damage by staying alive, and his ability to outlane opponents. He gets his damage from a couple different sources, but it's through a combination of auto attacks, poison damage over time, and some right click when heroes get low.
The items you buy on him is either a Mek or SnY(Sange and Yasha), and then you transition as needed.
I laned this game vs a Shadow Fiend and I pressured him with my positioning in the first few waves and went for a kill when I felt that I could kill him. Outlaning with Viper is extremely important because if you fall behind your impact is much less due to you having less ways to farm as the game progresses.
Once you get Mek you should try to bait your opponents to initiate on you and then survive the damage.
As the game progresses, build either as more of a carry(SnY into Daedalus or AC or Skadi), or towards utility if you're behind and feel squishy(Aghs, Pipe, or SnY).
