Push for Emor (Open World FPS) Part 2 - VR Gameplay HTC Vive
This round wasn't as impressive but I've been having a back and forth with the dev. He's actively working on fixes identified in Part 1 such as the ammo box moving with you when you crouch and the weapon swap issue as well as finishing up the new Onward style locomotion. He definitely sounds dedicated to the project.
"Not enough hours in the day, not enough days in the week. I didn't feel like a beer tonight anyway, or sleep for that matter"
Definitely sounds like a hard working guy.

I was also provided a key for Push to Emor for a give away. I'll be doing a Push for Emor Giveaway video sometime this week. This weekend at the latest.
The planet we go to when I think the game crashed. I'm told just takes about a minute to load in. I probably didn't actually crash, I just wasn't patient enough. I've given the dev my feedback that that needs to be shortened as much as possible but also that it shouldn't boot me to the Vive homescreen if possible. I asked that the player be put in some other 3d area that indicates the game is still working correctly and loading.
Other than those few hiccups, the second half of this video definitely was a much better experience once we got back on track with questing.
Even with the issues I think I'd still recommend it. Let's see how that holds up in part 3.
EDIT: Note from Lupus:
"After this next update, the resource planet will be getting some love - bloody turret pickup works great for monitor and Rift, but is a broken mess for Vive - as the Major says - I'm on it!"
This is what really makes me want to support the game. He saw a pain point in my video and a fix is planned.
