Some changes for the After Dark update: 1) Land value effects growth more drastically so turn on Parks and Recreation around 40-50K. 2) Big business benefactor and High tech housing will help you turn a profit as well around the same time. 3) Income fluctuates between day and night so beware! Also, some structures only work during the night (i.e. solar farms). 4) Design your city towards building the Eden Project as early as possible. 5) Watch your population demographics as the game progresses. Build residential in small patches and don't forget to build some low density housing along the way! 6) Educating your citizens will reduce the amount of trash produced. 7) Traffic can be managed effectively with mostly six lane roads and many buses, putting people close to the services they need will also reduce traffic.
