The formula I tried to explain is Score=40+(10*P) x C+P, where C is the base chain value, and P is the number of extra puyos cleared beyond 4. As you can see, Score for a clear is on the order of P^2, so it's best to have big clears when the Chain count is already high.

So yeah, easiest thing ever to remember while in the middle of clearing Puyo.
