The key to the Libon's impressive range potential is its patented dual battery technology. The bike is equipped with two powerful 36V 10Ah + 36V 10.4Ah lithium-ion batteries - one integrated in the frame and the other in the adjustable seat tube. Together they should give the Libon an incredible range of up to 260 km without the need to recharge the battery.
It features a 250W brushless hub motor that can even be unlocked up to 500W via software. The torque sensor is designed to provide smooth starting and power control.
PVY specifies the maximum assist speed as 25 km/h, but this can be increased to 32 km/h by unlocking. With a torque of 50 Nm, the e-bike is suitable for both urban and rural areas.
There is no specific information about price and availability yet. However, PVY plans to launch Libon through a crowdfunding campaign from April 03 to May 03. IndieGoGo offer. The technical data sounds ambitious, but it remains to be seen to what extent the promised range can be achieved in everyday practice.
