I have recently finished the first three in the Fatal Frame/Project Zero series (Project Zero, Project Zero 2 Crimson Butterfly and Project Zero 3 The Tormented) and so I will be following them with the FOURTH game in the series, that is Mask of the Lunar Eclipse. This was originally released ONLY in Japan on Wii in 2008 and has been remastered/ported to other consoles in 2023 worldwide. I am playing the Steam version, which has Japanese voice acting and I am doing this on the HARD difficulty (which I actually picked on accident). If you haven't watched any other Project Zero playthroughs, the game is a survival horror with an interesting twist!
I've never played this game and I haven't seen any footage of it, so it is a completely blind playthrough. I really enjoyed the first game and the third game (second one not so much), so we will see how I like this one! Previous games weren't really that difficult (but then again, I played them on NORMAL), but let's see how this one is! HARD difficulty WILL undoubtedly lengthen the playthrough quite a bit, but hopefully the game won't totally force me to ragequit!
As usual, I will be checking all the story and lore, trying to find EVERY possible secret I can. So expect lots of snooping and looking around, pretty much how a completionist would play. This will also most certainly lengthen the playthrough, so if that isn't your cup of tea, you shouldn't watch these. English commentary and, like all of my playthroughs, there's going to be lots of swearing and cursing... maybe even raging too! Don't watch if you have a problem with that.
