0This is UFONmans full playthrough of the Steam version of Project Zero 5 / Fatal Frame 5 - Maiden of Black Water on NORMAL difficulty. This is the STEAM version with Japanese voice acting and English subtitles! And this is also a REALLY long one...
I have now finished four of the previous entries in Project Zero (Fatal Frame in North America) - series and it is time to play the fifth and (so far) FINAL part Maiden of Black Water! Just like with the earlier entries, I haven't seen or heard anything about this game. Which can be either a good or a bad thing... Since the game was originally released in 2015 and they haven't made completely NEW entries after that, I feel like that might tell you something... This is the 2021 REMASTERED version of the game and I am playing the Steam version, which has Japanese voice acting. Played on NORMAL difficulty. You can't play it on harder until you finish the game. If you haven't watched any other Project Zero playthroughs, the game is a survival horror with an interesting twist!
I've never played this game and I haven't seen any footage of it, so it is a completely blind playthrough. So far I've really enjoyed the first, third and fourth games (second one not so much), so we will see how I like this one! None of the previous games were really that difficult (okay, the second one had some CHEAPNESS), but let's see how this one is! Maybe I'll ragequit, maybe I won't?
As usual, I will be checking all the story and lore, trying to find EVERY possible secret I can. So expect lots of snooping and looking around, pretty much how a completionist would play. This will also most certainly lengthen the playthrough, so if that isn't your cup of tea, you shouldn't watch these. English commentary and, like all of my playthroughs, there's going to be lots of swearing and cursing... maybe even raging and lewd jokes too! Don't watch if you have a problem with that. If you like the content subscribe, like or comment... or not, it's up to you!
