QT30E - I Am Bread - I Am Not Going To Play This Again
0The newest video in the QT30E series is the #PS4 version of I Am Bread, a game from Bossa Studios. I wanted to play this game because i didn't know what it was.
After playing it, i can safely say that this game isn't for me. everything's fun at first, but it all eventually grinds away leaving a frustrating experience. I can sort of understand what they were trying to do, but i feel like they were being a bit too serious about it and not leaning into the humour.
This meant i found the first stage to be so much harder than anticipated, controls that became unclear, and a camera that fought me all the way. I tried each game mode but quit a couple as i just wasn't having fun. it would be interesting to hear from people who played it and enjoyed it as i just wasn't getting it.
If i had to pick a highlight it would be the racing mode, but that's mostly because it's the only mode i got more than a "F" on. Actually, i'd go so far as to say the tutorial was decent. it had cards saying what to do, but then it also had ghosts showing you how to do it and i really appreciated that. But i finished the tutorial and also didn't finish it and that kinda ruined the experience a little for me.
So i've deleted this game already. i've played it, got an opinion, and have decided to move onto other games.
