Whenever I had Quake III Gold growing up, I never played Quake III Team Arena online, other than a few bot matches trying to figure out what it really was.

Far as I could tell no one ever played it...

So I decided to give it another shot. Using the IOQuake3/III Engine you can experience all of your favorite Quake III Add-ons and mods on a modern system with great resolutions.

Many have stated that Quake III TA, was nothing but a glorified add-on that wasn't worth the money.

They soon decided to release it alongside Q3. There are very few servers still going that run Team Arena as far as I can tell.
