After 5 years of hiatus, the ultimate update of quake 4 weapons rip is here. Now that the mod is pretty much completed, it features both base and upgraded weapons, an optional arena mode without reload mechanics, heretic and multiplayer compatibility and several quality of life improvements, plus lots of bugfixes and improved zandronum compatibility..
The open alpha ripped all weapons again for 16:9 ratio and improved the base weapons behaviour while open beta included the weapon mod's (for the first time ever on alphaent's q4 rips).
The version 1.0 now includes an arena mode without reloads, akin to multiplayer. And speaking of that, the mod now also works on multiplayer and the mod is now compatible with zandronum. So, have fun!
Almost forgot to mention: The mod is now partially compatible with heretic and "qcde mappack", so even more fun for you! =P

* Partial heretic compatibility
* Replaced heretic's timebomb with random health/armor bonus pickups
* Replaced heretic's tome of power with random rg/lg pickups
* Replaced a torch sprite that was messing up heretic's torch powerup
* Added optional upgrade themes: Episodic (9 levels, gets an upgrade per level, but disables some upgrades) and megawad (gets all upgrades at a slower pace).

* Players now start with 125hp, instead of 100.
* Added float versions of some pickups for qcde mappacks.
* Added hit beep weapon sounds for multiplayer.
* Replaced vanilla crosshairs with q4lfmde's crosshair.
* Several vanilla sounds were replaced.
* Added key icons for heretic hud.
* All weapons muzzleflashes were merged into the weapon sprites, therefore fixing a glitch on zandronum (at expenses of dynamic muzzleflashes)
* Mod is now zandronum compatible.
* Added some q3a-like medals sprites for zandronum multiplayer.
* Added obituaries to weapons.
