Reuploaded in better quality. Hopefully YouTube compression doesn't murder it this time.

A short clip of me playing Quake Deathmatch with bots in 6DOF VR. You can't seem to connect to actual servers, maybe you can connect to other games hosted by VR users. But this just goes to show that more fast paced arena shooters can work really well in VR.

At least in my humble opinion, this feels wonderful to play and it's one of the best VR ports I've experienced. There is not a lot of that typical VR port clunk, despite the fact that it's nearly impossible to bunny hop consistently, everything else, moving, strafing, aiming, even rocket jumping works near perfectly, in fact I usually play better when I'm not so nervous from being recorded.

Download it here for any SteamVR supporting headsets : https://github.com/Fishbiter/Quakespasm-OpenVR

There's also an Android version with 3DOF controller support, not made by the same developer and not running on the same version of the Quake engine (SteamVR uses Quakespasm, while Android uses Darkplaces), so I don't believe they are compatible unfortunately : http://quakevr.com
