Beat Basil's previous easy run by 4 seconds.
I must admin I had a hard time figuring out how to do the three main obstacles:
- Get past the raising gate: It took some time to find the best way to get enough speed and jump at the right place to
be able to bunny fast enough to get past the gate before it was raised.
- Do a proper grenade boost: I wanted to throw the grenade earlier in the stairs but it always got stuck on the
edge right before where it lands in the demo. Up next was getting a boost and actually
benefit from the speed which was kind of hard since the grunt often got in the way.
- Jump to the quad: The hardest part of them all hence the quick stop before jumping. Since it's number
three on the list, I also had the least number of tries to learn it.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with this demo. I tried it using host_framerate .01 and got 0:42 and therefore I aimed for 0:43
since it's much easier in slow motion. The first 0:43 I got was .4 and on the next try I got .0 something. I took my another
hour or so to finally get 0:42.
