There's a billion custom maps for the Original Quake. It's really untelling what you will come across. This map was designed in worldcraft as it says in the Readme.

I used one of my favorite mods Quake 1.5 to test it out. Next time I'll try a old custom map on the 98 PC to verify its all working correctly!
