An 11 second improvement over the previous record by Jozsef Szalontai.
This is probably the most insane run that I'll ever do.
I had the idea for this route watching back some of the old Easy Run records
from Joe & Peter, where they used an Ogre grenade at the bridge to boost across
and skip going the long way around to get the Grenade Launcher. Since the Ogre
grenade boost wasn't really feasible on Nightmare skill, I figured out that you
could barely make it there using a very precise bunnyhop pattern, and was quite
a bit faster.
However, this skip made the remainder of the run so much more difficult by missing
out on Red Armor and some health, so taking minimal damage throughout the run was
essential. This ment having the two Ogres after the skip to behave perfectly as
they did, and the end Shambler to not attack.
Another thing worth mentioning is the 2nd Death Knight up top, by firing when
jumping the gap, I was able to alert him so that I wouldn't blow myself up on
him later, making things a little easier, but wasn't always consistent.
