First off, i'd like to apologize to whoever has been following my latest uploads. This is the third time the that i delete and upload this series of quake videos, mainly because i was extremely dissatisfied with the quality output.
My usual video editor (Cyber link Power Director) just couldn't handle.... something, i don't know what, in the recorded quake gameplay and the output was terrible, it really didn't the game any justice. So i had to use a different video editor, which also gave me a number of different problems and, after compressing, come back to PD for editing and whatnot.
The visual output still isn't perfect, but at least the image is mostly clean this time around.
About the game itself....
This is the very first quake game released by ID Software (probably the first true tridimensional shooter ever produced, correct me if i'm mistaken), where the main character travels to four otherworldy dimensions bent on thwarting an horde of unsepakable creatures that were inspired in the Lovecraftian myth (well, some of them, at least).
This is the Steam version of quake, which was heavily modded in visual terms. These include : pretty water (transparent, realistic water), monster models from the site "Quake reforged" (some pretty neat work), Rygell's utra textures (which are applied to the Darkplaces engine, they influence most of the game's appearance) and also a few new textures for the sky (made by Jeank and Moon (drunk)).
I think that's pretty much it.
