Built for the 2021 Quake Xmas Jam. Playable area is contained within a 1024 cube. My design intent was to reuse the same space as much as possible, with the player reentering the central "tower" of the level several times at different heights and from different angles.
Story:
Deep in the frozen heart of the Plateau of Leng, the Ogres keep this shrine to their twisted god-things. Each year for millennia, they have gathered here at midwinter for the Yuletide Festival, where they pay homage to those eldritch beings who dwell in patient silence upon the winds above this icy fortress.
