It works on local Lan and even on Darkplaces Servers online.
Comfort tips:
1.Use the swivelchair mode! Like it did in the video. Everything else will make you vomit in no time. Don't ever use the sticks to turn!
2.Set movement speed in options to slow
3.When moving in Quake don't think of it as walking - imaging standing on a hoverboard or a surfboard.
