So something about the import screen starts up the game engine, gets time to start flowing and stuff like eating and drinking regularly starts to happen. The game starts to run into unexpected behavior if you go to the import screen and then back out again to the main menu. Infamously Corey himself saw that when this happens, after about 17 minutes you see a message indicating thirst and then shortly after the death happens.

I found a faster way to do it. Start "running" in the copy protection spiel before the game even begins, go to the import screen and back out. Then you game over immediately on the next stamina drain tick from running, in about 30 seconds or so.
