I thought this was a bit over-the-top. You are trying to escort your family out of the city, so the obvious goal is to be as quiet as possible. This is what happens when you don't throw money. Three minstrel's that look exactly the same with the same voice decide to serenade your family as you escape.

Truly Questionable AI. Also Questionable mission design. Try harder Ubisoft.
